Colorful Maui
I was thrilled this year when Pantone’s 2019 color of the year was announced. We liiiiiiiiiive for coral tones. Clearly, with Hawaii weddings, bright/fun colors are kind of our thing. Coral flowers against white sand or lush tropical greenery - does it really get any better?! For this week's blog, our wedding venue has a lush tropical ceremony area paired with a great all white reception space. It's a great backdrop for our tropical decor and bright coral peonies and orchids. It's the perfect backdrop for any island event so we're glad everyone gets to share the love this year this fab color that we've always loved.
Jenna and her hubby renewed their vows at the Maui wedding venue, Hale Ho’ike ike (formerly the Bailey House) and we were there for all this tropical goodness. We transformed this Hawaiian art exhibit into a wedding reception venue for 20. The clean white modern room was the perfect backdrop for bright bold wedding colors. Peonies, palms, yellow pincushions, protea and amaranthus were used for the wedding decor and her tropical bouquet. We also added a garland and some colorful flowers to the back of this ‘59 Porsche speedster to give this wedding getaway car a little vintage Hawaii vibe.
***Sidenote - I can honestly say this was the most fun car I've ever driven and begged my husband to find one for me when we were done shooting. He wasn't convinced it was practical but I'm still working on it.
If you're looking for a great intimate wedding space for 20-50 on Maui - this venue is a gem! It is an amazing price and located close to the airport and hotels.
